Upgrade from 2.4.X to 2.5 Process
For existing customers currently running on UX version 2.4.X , the upgrade to 2.5 process is really easy , but requires updating the content store as well.
If you have Pulse installed, you can use this online package , which will automate the entire upgrade process.
In case Pulse is not intalled, you can use the following offline package, but please pay attention as its needs to be done in 2 steps. (see below).
Note:
After completing the Content Store update , you can simply use the installer , and update your existing 2.4.X webapp , to complete the upgrade process.
Offline package process
Step 0:
- take a backup of the current content store
- stop the ContentStore TM1 service
Step 1:
- copy all objects from the offline package to the existing content store data folder (override files whihc exist already i nthe directory)
- start the ContentStore TM1 service
Step 2:
- execute the process '}APQ.UX.Server.Upgrade'
